Nicholas Robinson School

Mekelle, Ethiopia

In the heart of northern Ethiopia this school primarily provides education to the sons and daughters of war veterans. Mekelle is set in the picturesque north on plans around 2,000 meters above sea level which will provide a stunning backdrop for balloon chasing. The school caters for students from kindergarten all the way through secondary school and has just see it’s first set of alumni graduate with 100% placement in universities. The school has never launched a high altitude balloon before but has experience of similar practical science programmes. Like Yellobric they are advocated of women’s education and this programme will help to inspire their female students to take up science.
